Pneumonia Segmentation

Deep Learning based pneumonia segmentation on X-ray and CT images. A UNet convolutional neural network is used to segment the lungs (left image) and areas of pneumonia (right image). The challenge of this task is correctly identifying and locating areas of pneumonia due to its varying shape, location, and concentration.
